MOOC is a platform which provided an online, open, and massively scaled courses. Historically, in 2008 (McGill University), Stephen Downes and George Siemens held a course, in online and offline. In offline, there are only 25 participants, but there are more than 2,300 people who follow the course via the internet. This course model was later adopted by many universities. Traditional classrooms, are limited in the number of students that can be served. While there are still millions of people around the world, in need of a quality education. MOOC provided an affordable and flexible way to learn new skills, support career advancement, and provide a quality educational experience at scale. Therefore, Communication Study of UPN Veteran Jatim create this platform to serve the necessity of quality education.
